Your RoleAs Product Manager you will drive forward Toyota Material Handling Products in the exciting area of Safety Solutions.
The role is to identify with our customers key areas where we can improve our safety in their operations and translate these into product solutions on our vehicles.
You will be working with new transformational technology with our R&D in the area of software and sensor technology, vision technology and real-time location - which have a real ability to transform our product offer.
You will be the lead for our Organisation, working with our Marketing and Sales departments, to bring these to market in a timely manner with maximum impact.
Core responsibilities- Be THE focal point within our organisation for Safety Solutions development for our vehicles.
- Market research with customers, and wider market and technology partners for solutions.
- Develop business plans for relevance for our business to improve our key metrics.
- Prepare decision making material for investment and execution.
- Develop a roadmap and prioritised plan for solutions.
- Work with our R&D and stakeholders to execute these solutions.
- Bring to market with our sales and marketing teams, with maximum impact.
- Prepare and run Product Training for salespeople via train the trainer concept.
- Be the point of contact with local Product Managers for daily support, questions in this area where this also provides you with key feedback to learn, improve the offer.
- You are interested by technology and business.
- You have a curious mind and can demonstrate problem solving.
- You are a strategic thinker, but at the same time very pragmatic, action oriented.
- You can conceptualise ideas into business plans.
- You are able to analyse data and find meaning and relevance.
- You can demonstrate you can develop business cases via previous work experience.
- You have great interpersonal skills, as very often you have to work through others to get things done, as its teamwork.
- You are a natural, confident communicator, who can present in front of others.
- You are open to working in an international environment, and able to travel across Europe to see our customers, and related internal departments.
- You communicate with ease in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of an additional language is useful.
- For the role we require you can demonstrate this via previous work experience in a similar role/ project management role in a similar or nonrelated industry. We are open. Skills are more important.
The position is located in one of our European Headquarters locations, Mjolby Sweden, Willebroek Belgium or Bologna Italy.
