Job summary
The Forestry Division leads FAOs work in promoting sustainable forest management and providing leadership on the environmental social and economic dimensions of forestry including its contributions to poverty reduction and food security and nutrition.
Candidates will be assessed against minimum requirements advanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities IAU/UNESCO in forestry consultants with bachelors degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in forestry forest landscape restoration sustainable land management or related fields including experience at national international level working knowledge level c english knowledge another fao language asset technical background mediterranean forestry issues strong demonstrated ability coordinate multi stakeholder processes member countries regional organizations civil society youth networks proven organizational skills planning delivery large international events please note all candidates should adhere fao values commitment fao respect all integrity transparency
