    Supplier Performance Leads are responsible for ensuring supply continuity globally to our Production facilities.This role will lead the tier II escalation point for material shortages.In addition, this role will also take a leadership role in managing supplier scorecards and quarterly reviews with key suppliers to ensure a high level of supplier performance and adherence to negotiated terms and conditions within supplier contracts.

    Responsibilities

  • Secondary escalation point for site plant leadership related to supply continuity issues with suppliers. Leads in cross site supplier performance management and allocation of supply.
  • Coordinates significant issues and recovery plans with site leadership and if necessary, the Commodity Management team.
  • Present continuity risks, recovery plans, and timelines to leadership.
  • Develops standards and metrics for performance related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
  • Ensures performance issues are identified, communicated and appropriately escalated for resolution by objectively working with Procurement management, internal clients and key suppliers
  • Ensures compliance with negotiated terms through supplier measurement evaluations and comprehensive periodic tracking and reporting of results and institutes continuous improvement supplier development programs with key suppliers such as on-time delivery, past-due performance, shipping quality, and other performance indicators and process improvement targets
  • Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Supplier contract management background
  • Requires a demonstrated understanding and background in the principles of Materials Management.
  • Strong data analytics skillset is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to indirectly lead cross-functional teams through projects and tasks.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or Logistics preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain Planning Experience (Supply / Demand).
  • Contract management is preferred.
