RINA is currently recruiting for a Full-Scale Mechanical Testing Laboratory Technician to join its office in
ROME within the Materials, Technology & Innovation Division

Mission:

Responsibilities:

Perform tests in accordance with European and international standards for the qualification of components and/or materials
Carry out tests according to specific procedures established with customers, for the characterization of the field performance of the test components
Perform "fit for purpose" tests to determine the causes of specific field problems.
Prepare mechanical tests on full scale components. Carrying out, if necessary, small mechanical operations to adapt the test equipment to the purpose.
Periodically check the state of the test equipment and carry out the necessary calibration and maintenance, in accordance with the user manuals.
Collaborate with other team members to carry out the work and to solve any laboratory problems.
The resource will report to the Laboratory Manager and will be included in the Laboratory work team, with internal training and onthejob training.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Studies or Science Other
