A vacancy for
Industrial Manager has arisen within Airbus Italia. The successful applicant will join Operations department.


Mission:

You will be responsible of the link between Engineering and Operations.

Your mission will be building manufacturing, assembly, integration and Test system focused on Space Projects and Military projects, starting from the development to an industrial manufacturing line.

As Industrial manager you will coordinate and manage the link between engineering development and Operations in order to evolve the design (Design to cost and Design to manufacture)


This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to continue building a career in the Airbus Organisation working closely with the Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering and Production team in Italy.


Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the team and set-up of the team organization during the development phase (schedule, resource planning, meetings, intermediate reviews, share working area, communication) together with the Program Manager.
  • Responsible to run clarification/discussions about technical and programmatic issues during different program phases in continuous communication with the Program Manager.
  • Responsible for key information transmission to the team (make sure that all information is properly distributed)
  • Act as focal point from Operations in project phases.
  • Link between Engineering and Operations
  • Coordinate with Technical Teams (Ops, AIT and ENG) in order to agree a solution based in Design to manufacture, design to cost approach.
  • Be accountable of the consistency of the whole MAIT.
  • Assess the potential problems and risks and the associated action plans to mitigate them.
  • Definition of industrial approach in line with plant view

Required skills:

Experience of product knowledge including Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test processes with analytical skills

Experience in cost estimation and data analytics.

Engineering and/or Finance University Degree level or equivalent up to Project Management skills, Manufacturing experience or knowledge

English knowledge at negotiation level

Good communication skills as well as able to interact and influence at different management levels

Proactive mindset and Team work spirit, capable of working on multidisciplinary teams

Autonomous as well as team player/ flexible/ and transparent. Open minded and wiliness to propose new ways of working.
