Job Purpose:


We are looking for highly motivated customer service professionals who are willing to take the next step in their career by joining our team.

Exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a US multinational chemical company.

You will manage sales orders and operations within the sales function in accordance with group policies, local and US GAAP requirements, agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators.


Responsibilities:


  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves commercial problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Continuous Improvement_**- Work closely with process owners to understand the root causes of problems and process standard deviations.

  • Proactively seek feedback from other team members and other internal and external customers.

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of back office service experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in creating and using complex models and large data sets.
  • Experience with SAP.

Skills:


  • Strong team building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
  • Desire for continuous improvement.
  • Able to establish personal credibility at all levels by building effective relationships.
  • Willing to learn and embrace change.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business administration or Commerce
