- To supervise a high degree of Mechanical activities during the construction/precommissioning andcommissioning activities for the Platform (Wellhead platform, jacket, topsides).
- To ensure proper coordination between construction, pre-commissioning activities.
- To provide technical guidance to contractor and subcontractor work teams.
- Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP) and OPERCOM methodology
- The Job holder may also have to be involved in his discipline activities during WHP Topsides commissioning(worksite), hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases.
- Participate to KOM with Contractor/Subcontractor wrt Discipline matters.
- Review the relevant Contractor's and suppliers ITP's and procedures (in coordination with Mechanical
- Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved drawings and plans, Surveillance plans,Inspection and test plans.
- Monitor and control CTR's daily / weekly progress report for construction for all Mechanical activities
- Monitor the work deficiencies and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective actions.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued.
- Stop & report immediately to PVV SPDT any anomaly or non
- conformity.
- Attend, when requested, the various meetings (Construction, precom and com), and provide support to theConstruction Manager and CSL in its various reviews
- Participate to construction, HSE or QAQC specific audits or visits; Provide regular inspection & activityreports.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued.
- Review and approve the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor and/orSubcontractors/Vendors on a daily basis.
- Ensure that Contractor and Vendors personnel are qualified for the task they've been assigned to.
- Issue Non-Conformance reports or review Contractor Non-Conformance reports and validate dispositions.
- Confirmed Mechanical expertise, with at least 15 years' experience in large international projects (offshoreplatform)
- Construction experience is required on installation of topsides equipment packaged units (Fuel gas,compressors, generators, pumps), and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN,ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC. Experience on construction yard is required.
- Background with TOTAL. General Specifications
- Good Knowledge of OPERCOM / ICAPS Methodology

Intervene as necessary where warranted.- To verify and to confirm that all equipment are protected/preserved during all duration of the project as pervendor's requirement and project procedure, Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report and lesson learnt.- To verify the completeness and correctness of the as built drawings and manage the final projectdocumentation and ensure the complete handover to CPY Commissioning team.- To monitor and report preparation of COW activities if any.
