The role:
We are recruiting an experienced Implementation and Application Support to join our AVPS team.


Global Blue have developed a leading Omni Channel Payment System for the Hotel and Retail sector and we are seeking an implementation and services support to join our European team.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage middleware implementation together with merchant and customer at hotel, retail and F&B POS systems
  • Understand and provide help to the customer's needs and operation workflow; then install,
- setup and configure the middleware remotely or, if necessary, at the customer site

  • Ensure that the solution meets specifications and functions per customerspecific operational workflow
  • Report an additional functional request from customers to our internal Product and Development team
  • Receives and responds to internal incident escalation, to provide guidelines for the next steps to the customer further assistance to the user
  • After "golive" provide technical support to the customer when necessary work coordination with various internal technical teams, such as the Product Team / Support Team / Development Team, etc
  • Perform additional job duties as required such as On Call Duty, etc
Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and people skills are required
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a new team, technologies, products, and procedures
  • Experience in remote user implementation and training
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel 30% 40% of the time across Europe
Qualification

  • POS systems and Hotel customer or similar work experience
  • Experience with Oracle Opera/Symphony or other PMS solutions a plus
  • Experience with Payment Solutions and Payment Terminals a plus
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Italian is also desirable
