With 44 plants across 17 countries in Europe, our client is the one of the largest European manufacturer of packaging

For one of the Plant located in the Centre of Italy, we are looking for a

FINANCE JUNIOR CONTROLLER

The purpose of the role is to ensure the financial systems, processes and disciplines are operated effectively and in a timely manner and to support Financial Controller in all matters relating to the management and interpretation of the business finance.

The incumbent will report to the Finance Controller.

Posizione:

He/she will support the Finance Controller to:

Manage all financial reporting as required within tight reporting deadlines.
Prepare annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast
Prepare and analyze monthly/weekly accounts and KPI reporting to headquarters and local management team.
Analysis and interpretation of the financial results and forecasts
Support the Plant Manager, other managers and their teams in the interpretation and understanding of the results, and subsequent corrective actions.
Ownership of account receivables process: including customer rebates management & computation.
Manage and maintain an accurate standard costing system.
Monitor the product margin analysis, proposing and advising on changes as required.
Monitoring and control of capital and revenue expenditure projects
Ownership of working capital management, identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation.
Liaison with internal and external audit bodies.
Comply with Italian law and internal policies in administration and finances areas
Optimize cash flows and financial income

Requisiti:

You have a degree in Business Finance Control/Accounting

- minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a multinational group or in auditing firms of international groups

Strong knowledge of the latest finance methods and an ability to interpret these into workable local solutions. A knowledge of Italian statutory accounting and tax requirements.
Good computer skills, including extensive use of integrated management software (ERP) and management reporting software and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel.
His language skills must be Italian (native language) and a high level of English (written and spoken), French would be useful to facilitate working in an international environment.
