THE TEAM

The Analytical Chemistry Facility (ACF) supports IIT research lines in many areas like, for example, life sciences, medicinal chemistry, material chemistry and many others.

The ACF is an open, collaborative, multicultural and multi-disciplinary group of people, working at the boundaries between analytical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry and biology.

The Facility is equipped with state-of-the art Mass Spec (MS) and NMR instruments for the exploration of the chemical space.

We are currently seeking for an experienced MS technician to join the Team and support the omics activities of the Facility (proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

A Degree in Chemistry or closely related area.
A deep knowledge of LC-MS based omics workflows and an extensive handson experience of both high and low resolution instruments with a proven track of results in the field
A proactive attitude and a resultsoriented, problemsolving mindset.
A good knowledge of English.
Good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to integrate in an international research team.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Previous experience in MALDI-MS
Spirit of innovation and creativity
Good at time and priority management
Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
