Claims & Protection Specialist Italy
We are looking for a Claims & Protection Specialist to join our team.

In this position you will handle all the operational activities related to the Asset Protection Program:


  • Ensuring the effective operational delivery of all aspects of the Asset Protection Program in a vendor finance environment
  • Ensure effective management of claims for total loss, Repair & Replacement requests
  • Manage and evaluate asset portfolio coverage


Delivery of the terms of relevant SLAs and optimization of processes & systems, in line with the business and operations plans, to ensure high quality accurate and timely operations and service to customers.

Day to day:


  • Liaise with all BUs / other departments in country, customers, dealers / vendors, third party administrator
  • Deliver the operational tasks related to:
  • Claims Handling management (repair & replacement)
  • Monitoring, Control and Cooperation with Third Party Administrators (TPAs)
  • Deal with monthly portfolio submissions
  • Derogations for assets, T&Cs, pricing
  • Repair, Replacement and wreck quotes check
  • Register, handle and solve complaints
  • Compliance with external and internal policies, rules and regulations
  • Compliance with defined SLAs and KPIs
  • Update and implementation of lessee facing brochures
  • Set up, implementation and management of enhanced and new processes related to the asset protection program
  • Compliance with Customer/Partner agreements and financing contracts

Essentials:


  • Degree in Law, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Relevant experience in the insurance sector (Primary insurance companies, brokers, loss adjuster TPA, leasing industry,)
  • Experience in claim management: equipment physical damage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the financial/insurance sector, in equivalent positions
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team, results orientation and aptitude for problem solving.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Ability to interact proficiently with all levels of the key functional stakeholder
  • Proactive and ability to work independently
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills review
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Knowledge of leasing financial products: finance lease, operational lease, renting and loan with pledge
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery and clean technology is a plus
  • Previous client facing role experience in insurance will be a plus
  • Deep knowledge of Property line and general knowledge of all other lines of the insurance market
  • Expertise in IDD and local insurance laws
