IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for Junior Technician to join the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Test Facility at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget), Milan, Italy led by Paola Albertini and Giuliana Ferrari.

The GLP Test Facility performs preclinical studies, validation studies and analytical activities according to Good Laboratory Practice and Data Integrity principles to support GTMPs development.


Who we are looking for a motivated Junior Technician to work on Preclinical activities and studies performed according to GLP principles and Standard Operating Procedures.

The Technician, upon completion of a GLP training program, will mainly help to develop and conduct in vivo experiments, in vitro assays and analytical activities to evaluate the effects of new compounds.

He or she will also be involved in the maintenance activities of laboratory equipment and materials.


Main tasks:

Conduct in vivo studies and experiments in mice;
Dose administration, clinical signs evaluation;
Weighing, blood sampling;
Euthanasia of mice and collection of organs;
Analytical activities on biological samples (e.g PCR; Flowcitometry; Elisa);
Collaborate in the preparation of standard lab procedures and protocols;
Direct involvement in maintenance activities of laboratories and animal facilities.


Qualifications and skills:

Degree in Life Sciences and previous experience in laboratory and animal facility;
High motivation to work in regulated environment; Experience in GLP as a plus;
High accuracy, reliability, precision;
Ability to work autonomously;
Friendly, collaborative, pro-active mindset;
Good oral and written English.
