    This is a freelance consulting opportunity in the Pharma industry. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the integration of equipment for Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MES & Automation systems and be able to facilitate regular Agile planning for MES integration.

    Responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support to site teams, managing activities such as URS/FRS generation, software configuration/coding, and overseeing MES software documentation practices. A thorough understanding of system cGMP requirements and knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments are also essential.

    The successful candidate will liaise with site engineering leads and automation engineers, as well as the MES platform provider, engineering contractor, and equipment vendors on the lifecycle of document preparation, approval, coding, and delivery.

    We prefer candidates with Pharma industry experience and who speak Italian. This role is based in Italy but can be done remotely.

    Key skills required include:

    • Strong experience with MES & Automation systems
    • Facilitating and continuing regular Agile planning for MES integration
    • Analysis and solving of technical issues related to the MES integration
    • Management of URS/FRS generation, software configuration/coding, and general oversight to the MES software documentation practices
    • A thorough understanding of system cGMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments
