(Vacuum & Hydraulic Products Italy) is an Italian company, part of the international group Weifu High-Technology Group Co., Ltd**, a leading supplier of Original Equipment automotive components in the Asian Market.

With over 60 years of history, our Business Unit represents for the group the European hub in the supply of pumping systems for combustion engines and electric motors.

We are located in the Crema area and operate mainly in the field of Vacuum creation, Oil cooling and lubrication.

We supply the Western major automotive companies and grow as a mechatronics business organization.

At our headquarters, R&D, Production, Sales and all related staff work in synergy, totaling about 500 employees.

As a Commodity Buyer, you will:

manage the metallic commodity (Aluminum Die Casting and Cast Iron parts);

- support the Purchasing Project Manager & Supplier Quality Manager during the new component development;
- define Commodity/Suppliers Strategy;
- handle supplier selection according to Total Cost of Ownership criteria.

In addition, you will be the key point of contact for any business, strategic communication and escalation with supplier, including reporting to management in dedicated committees.

You will also assume responsibility for the commodity or material field, including supplier strategy and scouting, negotiation, business bundling, contracting, ordering and supplier database management.

Finally, you will be in charge for Change Management ECR for purchased parts applicable for multiple project and management of the Engineering Change Requests and introduction of Design-to-Cost ideas for new or series projects.

Qualifications Education**:
Mechanical, automation engineering or similar academic background.

Experience and Know How:3 years of
experience in the automotive industry or similar experience in large organizations and complex project environments.

Technical knowledge:

_ _**Basic knowledge of powertrain components; Basic understanding of the main automotive industry production processes; Microsoft Office (_Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project_).

Personality:
goal-orientation and self-driven with entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication and team working skills.

Language skills:
Fluent English.
