Posizione:

**Within the Speed Date STEM event, taking place on March 27th in Turin, DANA is seeking a skilled and motivated Gears Specialist to join the Rivoli LV Design Team.

Main Responsibilities

To be responsible of gears and shafts design

- to define components geometry in function of life target
- to be avble to perform analytical and FEM simulation loops to optimize the design in function of loads and contrains
- to be able to have a complete overview on gearsets to evaluate pro and cons of all solutions

Requisiti:

Education:
University master degree - Mechanical

Professional Background

Preferred experience in gears and shaft design roles
Preferred experience in gears and shaft manufacturing process
Preferred experience in analytical and FEM analysis

Hard Skills

Essential:

Preferred experience in mechanincal construnctions and transmission design with particular focus on gears and shafts
Knowledge of material and manufacturing process
Preferred experience in simulations ( analytical and FEM)
Preferred automotive development process knowledge ( design and validation phases, from design to serier components process )
Proficient in both English and Italian

Considered as a plus

Able to take decisions to define best technical solution with limit direct resposnable supervision
2D and 3D skills
Knowlenged of coating proceese and benefits
Knowledge of particular surface proccese ( ex. Shot peening) and benefits

Soft Skills

Stakeholder management
Ability to communicate and effectively
Sound analytical and organizational skills with ability to prioritise effectively
Forwardthinking and resultsdriven
Able to work under pressure
