La sede di Milano rappresenta il cuore della strategia aziendale di QuidelOrtho Italia.

La nostra organizzazione è composta da circa 75 persone:

il 30% del personale è basato in ufficio e ricopre le funzioni Finance, QRC, IT, People and Culture, General Services, Sales, Administration, Tender; il resto del team è invece dislocato su tutto il territorio nazionale dove, svolgendo il ruolo di Account Manager, Field Engineer o Laboratory Specialist, si occupa della gestione dei nostri clienti, dal punto di vista sia commerciale che tecnico-specialistico.

Your new role:
Strategic Sales Activities in order to develop new business opportunities in Italy (Complex Sales).

The function works closely with Sales team in order to identify the right target, develop the strategy and implement the pre-sales activities leaveriging on the different resource available in the country (Sales, LSs, FEs), prepare details projects and implement as Project Management for our solution.

He will be also developer for Middleware and IT solution for our customers.


What you'll be doing

  • Building a "Strategic Sales approach" designed to address special requirements of large, complex accounts, achieving a competitive advantage and creating future growth.
  • Establishing and building senior level relationships with new complex customers.
  • Pre and post sales activities for Automation Opportunities and large Network Account.
  • Identifying innovative solutions to meet account needs and drive profitable growth.
  • Understanding the principles of Lean methodologies, change management and project management

What you'll need to succeed

  • Influence executive leadership skills and craft proposals that influence organizational outcomes and create strategic partnering relationships
  • Consultative skills are required to deliver a win for both client and Ortho to help influence the structure of the tender.
  • Workflow analysis experience, able to complete client assessments, deliver compelling presentations and document all buying signals and red flags that need to be adopted in the account plan
  • Problem solving skills and great experience in managing customer's relationship in the market and people's relationship inside the company.
  • Project Management approach
  • IT skills in order to develop the right customize solution for the customers
  • Ability to guide crossfunctional teams to meet clearly defined objectives that benefit the company and customers
  • University degree is preferred; healthcare technology, related science and Informatics science is preferred
  • Programming languages and automation systems knowledge would be a plus


  • Good teamwork skills

  • English Proficiency.
  • 35 years of experience in the medical devices industry is required

Required Travel:
Approx 50-60 %
