This role is responsible for managing Active Directory services and the O365 suite.


Key Responsibilities:

  • AD Installation and Configuration: set up Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including domain controllers, forests, domains, sites, and replication.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory ,azure Active directory and O365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams).
  • Group Policy Management: Skills in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs), logon scripts, policies, preferences, and configurations within Active Directory environments.
  • Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS): Familiarity with AD FS for implementing single signon (SSO), identity federation, authentication, and access control across organizational boundaries and cloud services.
  • Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS): Understanding of AD LDS for implementing lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP)
  • Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS):
Knowledge of AD CS for managing digital certificates, public key infrastructures (PKIs), certificate templates, enrollment services, and certificate revocation lists (CRLs) within

  • Active Directory Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, authentication, DNS, trusts, schema, database, service failures, and other AD components.
  • Backup and Recovery: Proficiency in performing Active Directory backups, restores, disaster recovery, authoritative and nonauthoritative restores, backup schedules, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, event logs, performance counters, health checks, auditing policies, and reporting to monitor Active Directory performance, security, compliance, and
anomalies.

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Ability to configure and manage SSO solutions using Azure AD, federated identities, identity providers, and multifactor authentication (MFA) for secure and seamless access to Microsoft cloud services.
  • Guest Access: Skills in enabling, managing, and controlling guest access to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and other collaboration tools within the Microsoft tenant.
  • Security Policies: Knowledge of configuring and managing security policies, controls, conditional access, identity protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and threat protection features within Azure AD and Microsoft 36
  • Compliance Management: Understanding of compliance requirements, regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), data governance, retention policies, eDiscovery, audit logs, and compliance manager tools within the Microsoft tenant.
  • Security Monitoring:


Proficiency in monitoring security alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, suspicious activities, and compliance violations using Microsoft's security and compliance centers, dashboards, and reporting tools.


  • Azure Resources:


Familiarity with managing Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and other services within the Azure portal and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).


  • Microsoft 365 Resources:


Skills in managing Microsoft 365 resources, licenses, subscriptions, services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform), configurations, and settings within the Microsoft 365 admin center.


  • Microsoft Teams: Proficiency in managing Microsoft Teams settings, policies, channels, meetings, collaboration features, integration with other Microsoft 365 services
