Allweiler - a subsidiary of CIRCOR International – was founded in Germany in 1860. Allweiler develops and manufactures pumps and pump systems for the industry and the marine business.

At our location in Milan, you will be part of a 15-person team supporting customers in all business sectors through our experienced technical sales team and our logistics and repair center.
For our location in Locate di Triulzi, southeast of Milan, we are looking for an Application Engineer. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely possible.Your Responsibilities
Review customer requirements and develop solution proposals based on the CIRCOR product portfolio, considering all technical and commercial parameters
Lead expert discussions with customers on the configuration and design of plant systems. Provide technical consultation on parameters, system design, material selection, sealing technology, accessories and more
Check technical and commercial specifications and clarify any deviations before preparing quotations
Develop optimal technical solutions in collaboration with internal and external interfaces, taking commercial aspects into account
Prepare complete technical and commercial quotations and revise them based on customer feedback or changes during the offer and order execution phases
Monitor market developments and trends and maintain close communication with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering
Support the field sales team and other sales channels during project negotiations, framework agreements, and trade shows
Provide expertise to regional Technical Sales teams for specialized pumps and applications
Initiate and conduct training sessions on pump technology and application engineering
Your Qualifications
Completed technical school (Perito Meccanico); a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is a desirable
Relevant professional working experience is preferred
Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with CRM systems and SAP R/3 is a plus
Very strong technical understanding
Proficiency in Italian and English, German is an advantage
