    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Coordinator to strengthen our Purchasing function. The successful candidate will contribute to setting up best-in-class methodologies, driving purchasing efficiency and best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct Procurement (Raw Materials for Production): Oversee procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other critical items. Develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Indirect Procurement (Services and Operational Goods): Manage procurement for non-production related goods and services. Source suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery.
    • Maintain records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.

    General Responsibilities

    • Process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to ensure purchase orders align with budget and financial constraints.
    • Handle and resolve procurement-related issues.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the food industry's supply chain trends and best practices.

    Requirements

    • Successful previous experience as Purchasing Officer in complete autonomy, preferably within the food sector.
    • University degree specializing in economics.
    • Excellent communication and social skills.
    • Fluent in English.
