Deployment Planner

As a Deployment Planner

  • Manage the Supply/Demand balance for the IBP horizon being two years of Make-ToStock Products for distribution networks / countries.
  • Accountable for monitoring and ensuring on time supply of finished goods in short time horizon (three months) to your assigned markets by engaging and collaborating with supply chain, Sales and marketing and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Monitor Stock availability and pull the stock through Transfer Orders from source locations and warehouse(s) in alignment with the deployment plan with the right level of transport urgency.
  • Manage and optimize Inventory levels within the distribution network in alignment with the business inventory strategy
  • Order Third party products related to sales in the country based on inventory strategies.

Your Challenge:


  • Actively participate in demand review meetings and act as a coordinator between supply and commercial teams to balance supply and demand.
  • Ensure the inventory and supply metrics are followed and achieved.
  • Document and manage short term demand and supply changes as per company supply archetype policies.
  • Track key performance metrics; lead root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

Commercial units teams, detailed Production schedulers, Portfolio Master schedulers, Deployment planners, E2E team, 3rd party suppliers, Logistic & warehousing team,

Qualifications:

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Strong knowledge in MRP2/IBP/ERP technology and supply chain systems ( S4 in Hana)
  • Master's degree in supply chain is preferable
  • Commitment to complete APICS CPIM certification within the first years.
  • Good command on English language is required, additional European languages would an advantage.
