The Impact You'll Make in this Role


The person hired for the position of Territory Representative will be responsible for sales and demand generation on 3M's medical device solutions mainly into Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit and Oncology clinical setting for Public Hospitals.


As a Territory Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

This role will report to the Area Manager.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Defining a territory sales plan for area business development and customer portfolio optimization
  • Adopting an analytical approach to prioritize and increase efficacy of customer interactions, sales activities, penetration projects and product usage development
  • Managing the entire tender process, in close collaboration with Bid Office
  • Managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification to order execution, combining technical and commercial elements
  • Analyzing Sales, Market and Opportunity data to drive and adjust the area/customer sales plan
  • Driving utilization of the 3M product portfolio, according to the planned product mix objective
  • Developing and managing a positive relationship with key decision makers (from physicians to procurement and from topmanagement to nurses)
  • Supporting product testing and demo
  • Participating in customer events (congress, workshop, hospital meetings, etc)
  • Using Evidence-Based approach for solutions presentation and commercialization (Scientific Studies, Health Economics, HTA, etc)
  • Collaborating with Clinical Specialists
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Clinical will be a plus
  • Previous sales experience, at least 5 years, in medical device market
  • Strong knowledge of Hospital (tenderdriven) mechanisms/dynamics
  • Valueselling skills
  • Good presentation and networking skills, willingness to learn and problem solving
  • Good level of English knowledge (spoken and written)
  • Flexibility to travel across the assigned territory
Territory & Portfolio

Your assigned territory is Sicilia Orientale.

The portfolio you will promote is mainly Normothermia solutions, Vascular Access solutions, Perioperative solutions.

Travel:
May include up to 70% [domestic]
