Key Account Manager North-East Italy

Purpose of the role
The North-East Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with the Company's most important customers.

Works closely with these customers to understand their needs and develop strategies to meet them, while also working with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, in full Compliance with the Company rules and procedures, the Farm Industria code and the National/Regional/Local Laws and regulations.


Main responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of Organon products and services within assigned accounts to achieve assigned revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep and wide knowledge of the assigned accounts and be able to understand their priorities and needs, turning them into business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account plans within assigned accounts.
  • Analyze sales data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Anticipate clients' needs and, in collaboration with other departments, develops and presents solutions to client's complex business issues.
  • Collaborate with the Tender team readingchecking contracts and renewals.
  • Originate and manage the development of large and complex deals with clients leveraging the whole Company portfolio.
  • Constantly monitor client satisfaction and works with Sales Director, Tender team, and Customer Care team to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve the Area's financial targets through the proactive management of all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and map all relevant accounts and stakeholders implementing strategies to ensure the fast uptake and sustainable growth of our products including launch of products.
  • Develop working relationships with all the specialists' healthcare providers, pharmacists, and budget holders to effectively influence adoption pathways and purchasing decisions.
  • Complete all Company administration and reports within guidelines and time scales specified to ensure a high standard of management information.

Your profile

  • BA or BSc preferably in Economics.
  • At least 6 years' commercial experience in sales with responsibility for managing complex deals with clients and strong experience in business development. Evidence of strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • 3 years' experience Sales or Customer Management experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Clear and demonstrable experience of winning new business from new and existing accounts and achieving revenue & customer satisfaction targets. An ability to build strong business relationships.
  • Full knowledge of: Tender process, Tender rules, and clear key roles mapping about the procurement flow at account level and regional level.
  • Proven expertise in account planning and accurate sales forecasting at account level.
  • An understanding of social media and how to use it to help develop business would be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge on broad commercial awareness and tactical planning needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency level of English language any other language can be a plus.
