About the role:

Derive and implement process improvements throughout EC with main focus on Operational improvement in the form of cost reduction, quality enhancement, delivery time reduction and production flexibility Drive productivity improvement projects through the operations departments using LEAN and DFM techniques Develop a culture of continuous improvement though training and development. Manage transfer projects and support implementation of new products into Operations Manage NPI for all new NPD projects Support supply chain development activitiesWorkplace: Gunnebo Entrance Control S.p.

Review the end to end process flow related to product delivery and identify and propose improvement projects.Working with the plants ensure each one has a clear Lean plan, BSC, 3 year ambition and 1 year actions plan aligned to the Operations strategy house.Support and motivate completion of the BSC activitiesDevelop transfer project plans taking into consideration full cost model post transfer and then propose optimized solutions. Manage implementation of these projects by working with the sending and receiving plants and driving projects through to completionDevelop a consistent approach to lean transformation and ensure that all staff participate in and are trained in Lean concepts, DFM, DFAManage the NPI section of NPD and ensure new products are designed in alignment with manufacturing / assembly processes and plans.Assures product and process quality by designing test methods; testing finished
product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.Perform supplier assessments at potential and current suppliers (Italy, Eastern Europe, Asia).Evaluate supply chain options based on cost, quality, best delivery conditions

• Lean Manufacturing processes and concepts

DFM, PFMEA Fabrication, Machining, Welding processes Assembly in a low volume customized product environment Manufacturing strategy and process development NPD implementation Project Management Some knowledge/experience of: PCB manufacture and test Supplier evaluation and selectionDesiderable: Solidworks Experience of working in a phase gate development process Chinese and Italian LanguagesFive Core Competencies Job Knowledge & Expertise Delivering Results Communication Skills Problem Solving & Decision Making 5.
