Introduction to Finance
Business typologies and key characteristics
Technological Transformation of Finance, Fintech
Value of finance as a management function
Financial reporting and financial statements
Financial analysis
Financial decision making. Investment appraisal
Time value of money: future value, present value, and interest rates
Capital budgeting techniques
Risk and return
Corporate capital structure, cost of capital, and taxes

Qualifications Requested

A relevant master's degree or Phd qualification (eg: Finance, Economics, Business, or another related field from an accredited, stateapproved programme).

Resident in Italy

Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA).
Immaculate police check(s).
Fluent English: reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference
CEFR level C1-C2).

Contract Duration
1st term (September-January)

36h of teaching + assessment and other academic related activities

Experience

A minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a university environment.
Evaluate and provide regular feedback on students' exercises, projects and examinations.
Specialist skills & knowledge.
Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquirybased lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
Planning and organisational skills.
