Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are


To provide client service excellence alongside the Italian Client Service team, Country Head and Sales team as well as the wider Columbia Threadneedle Investments business in the region.


Contributing to Client on-boarding activities, Client databases, Clients queries and requests in co-operation with local sales team as well as providing client service support to the Italian Country Head and Sales Team within the Retail, Wholesale and Institutional Channel.


Responsibilities
How you'll spend your time

  • As a member of the European Client Services team you will assist our Italian based colleagues and clients ranging from global financial institutions and wealth managers to pension funds. Working with your Client Service colleagues alongside the incountry sales team you will gain indepth understanding of our clients requirements
  • Assistance, alongside marketing, with fund presentations for inhouse meetings, conferences and roadshows;
  • Liaison with the Correspondent Banks, and in the UK and Luxembourg based Transfer Agents via the Oversight teams, Finance and Legal to facilitiate client take on and maintenance procedures;
  • Coordination and completion of internal activities, including client due diligence, share class requests, arranging distribution of client and regulatory reporting and implementation of procedural controls;
  • Coordination of despatch of fund literature e.g. factsheets, portfolios, commentaries via automated methods where possible;
  • Escalate errors and risks as appropriate;
  • Sharing of best practices, business development ideas and sales & marketing solutions with colleagues to aid the growth and development of CTI.

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have

  • Selfstarter with the ability to work on their own with mínimal guidance
  • Technical and time managements skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Being a team player with the ability to be focused on satisfying client needs
  • Fluency in Italian as well as English
  • Knowledge of excel and word (MS office in general)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
