Job Description:


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Professional skills and customer relations:

  • Provides and supervises excellent customer care
  • Offers an attentive service adapted to customer constraints
  • Pays attention to customers' comments (followup)
  • Conveys the image of the hotel
  • Adapts his/her organisation and workforce according to the activity
  • Prevents wastage and loss of raw materials
  • Complies with internal control procedures
  • Participates in inventories
  • Analyses results and implements corrective actions
  • Applies brand and hotel procedures and policies
  • Organize and monitors the work of his/her team
  • Organize the covers according to business forecasts
  • Takes account of the level of activity to manage customer flows
  • Applies brand and hotel procedures and policies
  • Epitomizes the Heartist spirit in his/her interactions with customers

Team management / Horizontal involvement:

As manager coach, he/she:

  • Promotes team motivation and bonding by creating an excellent working climate
  • Promotes the development of employees' professional skills and supports them in advancing along their career pathway
  • Participates in recruitment and applies labour legislation
  • Integrates, trains and fosters the development of employees' professional skills
  • Ensures the proper presentation of his/her teams
  • Works closely with hotel departments

Sales/Marketing:

  • Offers a personalized welcome for the customer
  • Energizes the point of sale through animation
  • Is proactive and advises the customer
  • Develops sales revenue through additional sales techniques
  • Deploys the sales and marketing action plan of his/her department

Management:

  • Committed to achieving departmental targets by following hotel procedures and internal controls and by increasing sales
  • Complies with billing and collection procedures
  • Contributes to the proper management of crockery and care of minor equipment by avoiding breakage
  • May participate in preparing inventories

Health / Safety / Environment:

  • Knows and follows the procedures in the event of a fire evacuation
  • Supervises the cleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of the equipment made available to him/her
  • Knows and applies the sustainable development program policy
  • Follows the instructions for use and safety of the equipment provided

Qualifications:


SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Catering vocational training
  • First experience of technical knowhow
