Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


We are currently seeking a Retail Specialist to manage the operational relationship with our retail partners, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and the achievement of business objectives.

In this role, you will oversee various aspects of retail operations, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of our retail outlets.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the operational relationship with retail partners to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and business objectives.
  • Support retail requirements and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of documentation and procedures for retail management, both invenue and offvenue, and monitor progress.
  • Contribute to and supervise the drafting of operational plans for retail partners, including staff planning, uniforms, opening hours, POS allocation, product display, and various services.
  • Monitor retail partner activities to achieve outlet objectives and compliance with commitments.
  • Coordinate the planning of the purchasing budget to ensure commercial performance.
  • Facilitate the relationship between licensees and retail partners for product procurement, ensuring compliance with collection launch schedules and shop assortment plans.
  • Collect retail royalty reporting and monitor partner invoicing.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the retail marketing plan with various internal functions.

Requirements:


  • 2 years of experience in retail management companies or as a sales account manager for large customers and/or complex projects, or 3+ years in a responsible role in a shop (minimum assistant store manager).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
  • Strong time management and prioritysetting skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.
  • Analytical and core selling skills.
  • High resilience and positive attitude, able to build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a team crossfunctionally.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
