Job Description:


Key Responsibilities- Perform settings, parameterizations and interventions on: plastic injection molding machines, mold temperature control systems, dehumidification and raw material feeding systems.


  • Participate in the startup of new products and processes.
  • Training, coordinating and shadowing colleagues and assigned resources.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to detect operational failures or anomalies, identify their causes, and manage repair activities, preparing appropriate improvement measures.
  • Define adjustments, proper running of the production cycle in the department, optimizing production performance and ensuring required quality levels.
  • Make improvements to molding cycles and processes.
  • Perform new mold testing inhouse and externally at suppliers and define production parameters.
  • Collaborate on Audits on mold and molding suppliers to meet the needs of internal certifications.
  • Ensure adherence to production plan according to schedule coordinated by plant logistics.
  • Ensure the performance of own and assigned personnel's activities in full safety as per current and internal regulations and provisions.
  • Overhaul, modify, create molds for new production.
  • Identify and experiment with new technologies.
  • Complies with and enforces the Quality, Environment, Safety and Food Safety procedures in the system.
Education and Experience

Scientific BsD or technical diploma.

Knowledge and Skills

Capabilities:
Organized and able to manage several activities simultaneously and effectively. Resilient and able to adapt to a dynamic organizational context. Accuracy and sensitivity to quality, safety and environmental issues. Able to manage interpersonal relationships, communication skills, and organizational skills.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency in computer packages inherent to the function.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing. Skills in Quality, Safety and Environmental systems.


Other:
B driver's license.


Experience:
At least three years' experience in the role in multinational companies, preferably US-based.
