Position Summary:


The EHS/Facility Manager works with and for the organization to promote good working practices for employees, safety workplace and to ensure full compliance with all site related environmental legislation.

He/She is
responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and safety (H&S) culture within the company.

He/she monitor health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace and advises leaders and employees on how to minimize or ultimately avoid them; he/she is responsible for first aid / nursing duties program and ultimately ensure the business is legally compliant with all environmental, health and safety legislation.


The EHS/Facility Manager manages EMEA HuFriedy Group facilities buildings, equipments and auxiliaries and utilities maintenance in an efficient, safe, and cost effective manner.


Duties:


  • Develop and execute environmental, health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
  • Prepare and enforce policies t
  • Assure full compliance of all environmental requirements and authorizations form related authorities
  • Conduct training and presentations
  • Monitor compliance to policies and laws
  • Investigate accidents or incidents
  • Assure all the obligations for employee medical surveillance
  • Manage and monitor all EHS related preventive and corrective actions;
  • Ensures the implementation of legal requirements on Environment, health and safety in the workplace, according to Legislative Decree 81/0
  • Manage space planning, furniture installations and moves, furniture procurement in line with stakeholders guidelines

Duties - cont'd:


  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules, correspondence, contracts, and purchase requisitions for construction and renovation projects.
- lead the facilities maintenance staff in the maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds.

  • Supports securing major equipment bids and makes recommendations for purchase when replacement or new equipment is required, assists in preparation of cost estimates, scheduling installation activities, reviewing and preparing contracts and purchase requisitions for construction and renovation projects.
  • Oversees the daily maintenance management for all CMI buildings, which includes owned and leased properties. The maintenance program will include the interior and exterior upkeep, the mitigation of equipment breakdowns, a progressive preventive maintenance program and all contracted housekeeping activities.

  • Ensures that all major equipment and furnishings are maintained in a safe operable condition and are
  • Manages all the Company tools (including rented cars) in order to keep them full efficient.
  • Prepares and reviews regularly the cleaning plans for all the facilities.

Education Degree:


  • Master's Degree in Engineering General or Chemistry
    Required Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in EHS field
  • Preferable experience in Facility and Maintenance management
  • Preferable experience in ISO 14001 and or other EHS related ISO Certification
  • Solid leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mastery in problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to manage multiple priority and manage different stakeholder in a fast pace organization
  • Ability to prioritize
  • English proficiency
