Primary Purpose of Role


He/she supports by managing and developing activities concerning forecast industrial planning, anticipation process, warehouse, optimizing information exchanged inside all Supply Chains in terms of resources, organization, engineering/finance/production/procurement data, Information system, service providers and partners pushing toward a transversal view of the Supply Chains.


Coordinate the data gathering to elaborate Industrial Response analyses, verifying in a multi-project approach the industrial capacity, perform Risk analysis during Bid phase by means of PRA, highlighting in advance issues and proposing solutions.


Contribute to the OFP Forecast activities, with the appropriate level of detail, mainly related to Industrial analysis, facilitating the teamwork among Domains, CC's and Finance.

Work in close collaboration with her/his direct manager for guarantee high performances of Forecast team.


Principal Relationships
Relationships will be required to be built and maintained with the following principals:

  • OFP-I Forecast Responsible and OFP-JV IR/PF Responsible
  • OFP References in TAS entities
  • Domains/CC's Dpt's Directors/Managers
  • Domini/CC's Controllers
  • Domini/CC's References for Forecast Processes (Engineering, Logistic, Production&/Test, M&T, WAND/PCDB/MRP people)

Key Responsibilities and tasks

Responsible of:

  • Guarantee high performance of information flow and the coherence among all forecast processes (Stock Analysis, IR, Building Block DB, PDS, Production Flows, MOS, GPS) highlighting discrepancies and/or proposing improvements.

Contribution to:

  • Support to all BS's proposals by means of Industrial Responses identifying the achievable schedules taking into account the industrial capacity, multiproject analysis, risks and the proposal specificities in term of SOW and specifications.
  • Support the relation with BS's, CC's and Purchase the mitigation plans necessary to secure the proposed schedules. This action lasts from the RFP submission to the effective date of contract.
  • Define for each BS, on the basis of specific sets of hypotheses (GPS + Opportunities) the LLI and parts needs (PDS), prepare appropriate procurement decisions (assuring the maximum coherence with the IR outcomes, when applicable) and coordinate correct execution of procurement flows with MRP demand planner.
  • Evaluate TAS-I industrial midterm needs (investment, production lines capacity analysis, new skill, list of priorities), taking into account both ongoing programs evolution and Forecast scenario more representative (GPS/GPS+Opportunity).
  • Evaluate road map of new product to understand the design maturity to start PDS process (in line with DR review) and update Kanban tables for critical/obsolete components in order to identify stock out period and alert program involved.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the transnational collaboration and convergence on all OFP processes.
  • Support to develop the new Data Control Room for Forecast Management (GPS / PDS&SM / IR&PF) supporting also the link with Schedule Management processes.

Key Performance Indicators
KPIs for the role will be specifically developed with the role holder however these will cover:

  • Achievement level in terms of requested analysis, improvements, teambuilding.
  • IR KPI's.

Experience and Skills

The following is necessary for the role:

  • Knowledge of Company processes needed for the role (Product Life cycle, Industrial policy, Bid Phase, Procurement Flow, Obsolescence/Provision, GPS) and related best practices.
  • Experience of working in a multidiscipline team environment and under pressure
  • Knowledge and experience of planning buildup, multiproject analysis and related SW tools (MS Project, Primavera Core Model, Primavera risk Analysis, );
  • APICS Certification (strongly recommended)
  • Knowledge and experience of stock management tool, analysis and related SW tool (SAP, MRP,)
  • Knowledge and experience in Data Base management (Excel)
  • Experience to work in a transnational context.
  • Innovate and act quickly: always openmind approach in new working methods and improvement of team's practices and processes

The following would be an asset:

  • Knowledge and experience in the Workload and capacity plan management
  • Knowledge and experience of Access Tool
  • Knowledge and experience of Primavera Risk Analysis
  • Knowledge and experience of Simu
