We are looking for a
Supply Project Manager who will join our team in San Biagio di Callalta (TV).


Key Responsibilities

  • Develops new suppliers to be integrated in existing supply base.
  • Drives resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or leadtime, which may include engagement with subtiers in the supply chain.
  • Work with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.
  • Participation with New Product Introduction teams to ensure suppliers are involved in the development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.
  • Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
  • Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
  • Support product development and improvement teams by sourcing new technologies from qualified suppliers.

Complementary responsibilities:


  • Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies.
  • Negotiates and manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.

Educational background

  • University degree in engineering (mechanical preferred)

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates advanced conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline (should cost, BTP production technology, Technical Project Management) and knowledge of related disciplines.

Business Expertise

  • Minimum 3 years of expertise in similar role
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

Problem Solving

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information (data).

Interpersonal Skills

  • Team oriented, working in inclusive and international environment capability to manage sensitive information, data driven, decision making ( leading without authority).
