We are looking for a
Supply Project Manager who will join our team in San Biagio di Callalta (TV).

Key Responsibilities

Develops new suppliers to be integrated in existing supply base.
Drives resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or leadtime, which may include engagement with subtiers in the supply chain.
Work with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.
Participation with New Product Introduction teams to ensure suppliers are involved in the development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.
Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
Support product development and improvement teams by sourcing new technologies from qualified suppliers.

Complementary responsibilities:

Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies.
Negotiates and manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.

Educational background

University degree in engineering (mechanical preferred)

Functional Knowledge

Demonstrates advanced conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline (should cost, BTP production technology, Technical Project Management) and knowledge of related disciplines.

Business Expertise

Minimum 3 years of expertise in similar role
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

Problem Solving

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information (data).

Interpersonal Skills

Team oriented, working in inclusive and international environment capability to manage sensitive information, data driven, decision making ( leading without authority).
