Responsibilities:

Peraton is currently seeking a talented

Special Technical Operations (STO) Analyst to become part of Peraton's US Army Africa Mission Support program, which works to serve and protect US Army forces operating and training in Africa.


Location:
This position will be in Vicenza, Italy.


The Special Technical Operations Analyst provides support and assists in sensitive projects to the G39 Special Technical Operations program across required Lines of Effort to include Maintain Army Readiness, provide scalable Crisis Response Options, Set the Theater, Strengthen and Enable Partners, and global competition.


What you'll do:

The Special Technical Operations Analyst will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Conduct and provide quality control of deliberate and contingency planning, functional plan development, coordination, and integration in conjunction with DoD clients components, DoD, US interagency, and others that support SETAF-AF G39 sensitive activities.
  • Assist in the development of strategic planning tools and techniques to train individuals and organizations on command and control (C2) processes, systems, and the integration of multilevel classifications involving sensitive military capabilities during joint, coalition, and servicefocused exercises, rehearsals, experiments, and operations using live, virtual, air, land, sea, cyber, and/or space forces.
  • Represent Special Program capabilities and participate in key exercise development meetings and planning conferences to assist in the design and coordination of the exercise to ensure that the Special Program objectives of the training audience are met.
  • Integrate STO and SAP capabilities with other conventional activities for the successful execution of exercises, experiments, and testing.
  • Conduct periodic quality control reviews to assist with the determination of whether the analytical and decisionmaking processes are following regulatory directives.
  • Develop and prepare Special Program indoctrination briefings, correspondence, and other documentation, to include formal letters, position papers, reports, staff studies, staff summary packages, briefings, charts, bullet background papers, orders, and plans for review by management.
  • Review and provide coordinated input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, strategic operational analysis reports, strategic and operational policy reports, requests for forces, DoD directives and guidance, and other documentation that supports strategic operations research, analysis, and policy development in support of SETAF-AF G39 Special Programs.
  • Additional Duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of U.S. Army experience, or High School diploma and 9 yrs. U.S. Army experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 14 years of experience within the U.S. Army.
  • Recent experience with Special Technical Operation (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP), Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), Cyber, Electronic Warfare, Space, and other classified programs.
  • Position requires 10% travel.
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance based on Singlescope Background Investigation (SBI) and have eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Preferred:


  • Active Top-Secret w/ Current Polygraph.
  • Former US Army Senior NCO (SFC
  • SGM), Senior Warrant Officer (CW3-CW5), or US Army Officer (CPT-LTC).

Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors
