Job summary
We are looking for a Product Owner / Payments Operations Specialist who will become the main point of ownership for payments performance and analytics across the product portfolio. This role will be responsible for improving subscription payment performance across multiple products (authorization, retries, recovery, churn), working hands-on with Stripe to analyze billing and subscriptions declines disputes fraud signals identifying payment issues proposing improvements driving them forward together with Product Engineering teams tracking key payment metrics building clear dashboards reports acting as go-to person payments-related questions across Product Business Finance teams flagging potential compliance risks escalating them relevant teams when needed. The right candidate should have strong hands-on experience Stripe solid understanding recurring billing mechanics auto-renewals retries dunning experience working payment KPIs turning data actions comfortable being first payments specialist building structure where it didn't exist before nice-to-have exposure high-volume subscription products background payments owner early hire in payments function why-this-role high visibility real ownership opportunity shape how are handled long-term.
