On behalf of Crown Holdings Italy, we are looking for an


Accounting & Administration Manager
reporting directly to the Finance Manager Italy


Mission of the position:


  • To be responsible for the supervision and control of the general accounting for the 3 Italian legal entities
  • To be responsible for preparation of the statutory financial statements and other key reports and be main point of contact with local tax and other authorities on a regular and special request basis

Key responsibility:


_ Internal/external controls:
_


  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, processes and standards pertaining to finance and accounts processing
  • Prepare SOX controls and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring Segregation of Duties

_ Local statutory accounts:
_


  • Prepare the local statutory accounts for the 3 Italian entities, actuarial reports and sustainability reports
  • Be the point of contact with the local notary/lawyers/advisors

_ Finance and Accounting:
_


  • Be the key point of contact for coordinating the activities performed by the European Shared Services centre with the activities performed locally
  • Support on preparing journals for Group and Statutory accounts
  • Examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports
  • Act as the Controller of the Italian Corporate entity

_ Tax Management:
_


  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of the CIT returns with an external professional firm
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of the periodical VAT/WHT/IGIC tax returns for the 3 Italian entities and for the Italian VAT registration of the Swiss Principal in collaboration with Crown's tax department

_ Cash Management:
_


  • Coordinate under the direction of Crown Treasury central team the treasury function for the Italian subsidiaries. Forecast cash tax for Budget and Rolling Forecasts

_ Finance Admin Support:
_


  • Support in corporate Italy issues coming from HR (mobiles, company cars, company cards, Travels.)
  • Insurance coordination and PAR preparation

Education:


  • A University Degree, or equivalent culture
  • Fluent English knowledge (both verbal and written)
  • Experience in systems: Microsoft Excel skills (macros) and ERP system experience (SAP)
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and Italian Local Regulations (Tax, VAT, Insurance, etc)

Professional background:


  • Proven relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally at least 5 years post qualification

  • Ability to work productively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
