**Main responsibilities: Operations Director has the responsibility to support, supervise, monitor and guide all local Thales Italia activities and

The Country Operations Director responsibilities are:

  • Deploy the Group and GBUs instructions, orientations and policies related ta ail operations matters,
control their implementation and the achievement of the associated objectives.

  • Facilitate and support all the structures/entities of the country ta develop synergies, mutualize and share
experience.

  • Manage the Operations Functions, in coordination with the respective Corporate Function's head:
Procurement, IS&iT, Quality & Customer Satisfaction, HSE, Real Estate (Facility Management), Security,

Country Project Management Office (Country PMO).

  • Contribute to the bids validation process and projects control, with the aim to maximize efficiency and to
reduce risks.

  • Contribute to the elaboration of the budget, to the execution and to the implementations of BORs.
  • Consolidate the country performance plan and implement it after validation by the Country Director and
the Group Authorities.

  • Contribute to the GBUs/ Group SBP preparation and achieve its deployment in the country.


As Quality Director he has the responsibility to ensure the proper implementation of the Thales Quality & Customer Satisfaction policy.


In particular, he will:

  • Define and monitor the yearly Quality Performance Plan at Country level, including:
  • The Quality Performance shared with Customer, to ensure that the quality observed by
customer meets the expected quality,

  • The internal Quality Performance focused on topics that impact the quality of deliveries and
the competitiveness

The assessment strategy, the associated assessment plan and the improvement plan to

ensure the relevant treatment of the findings.

  • Manage the resources and develop people to deliver the value expected by the stakeholders.
  • Develop the maturity of the Quality & Customer Satisfaction organization, according to the agreed
operating model.

  • Monitor the added value provided by the function to the stakeholders.
  • Supervise operational Quality activities to ensure customers' requirements and expectations are
met.

  • Ensure the Chorus Management System, life cycles, processes and practices are property
implemented to ensure compliance to the required standards and regulations, to deliver operational

performances and customer satisfaction.


The Country Operations and Quality Director, reports ta the CEO and Country Director and coordinates with the VP, DGDI Operations.
