As Key Account Manager you will support the Channel Director in the business development will be responsible for managing the Travel Retail Accounts visiting the points of sale to ensure that commercial and corporate policies are being respected.

You will ensure the achievement of sales targets for the assigned area in line with the Brand strategy, positioning and image, by building strong relationships with new and existing business partners.


What makes up your day

  • Support Channel Director in developing the business and developing strong retailer partnerships in Travel Retail within the assigned area;
  • Achieve business and merchandising targets by establishing strong partnerships with existing and new customers;
  • Negotiate and Establish budget investment, trading terms, space, location and conditions to ensure profitability per TR account to be validated with Channel Director;
  • Define the seasonal Budget, in accordance with the Channel Director's input;
  • Manage, monitor and enhance the P&L for each account in a dedicated TR Area by outlining Retail and Net sales, Operating Profit, returns, staffing, marketing, capex budgets;
  • Analyse market trends in order to maximise established and future business opportunities;
  • Providing support through the sales campaign in Milan Showroom;
  • Cascade down to local partners Zegna heritage, knowhow and storytelling capability in order to foster the Customer centricity mindset;
  • Monitor the sales data for the assigned area ensure proper reporting analysis (sell in, sellout, sell through, etc) to raise awareness of the business trend with each Partner;
  • In charge of sales results analysis, product assortments, and product mix for respective retailers to achieve retail sales targets;

We're looking for someone with:

  • Ability to understand customers & market trends and needs, and drive the business by maintaining a strong relation with local key partners;
  • Financial skills (KPIs analysis to monitor sales trend and sales Campaign budget)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details;
  • Negotiation skills and demonstrate agility, comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and operating effectively under pressure;
  • Sensibility and passion for fashion and luxury;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate crossfunction discussions;
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Italian, Fluent English, any other European language will be considered a plus; Availability to frequent business trips (approximately
-40%).
