Details about the Health, Safety & Environment Specialist role

:


Responsibilities of the Health, Safety & Environment Specialist include

:

- Ensure a safe working environment for employees in compliance with local/regional health & safety regulations;
- Implement the Seveso regulation system as per legislative decree 105/2015;
- Conduct safety analysis using various hazard evaluation techniques;
- Uphold EHS standards and ethics in response to internal and external Stakeholders' requests;
- Assist the EHS Manager in addressing EHS issues effectively;
- Identify risk factors and assess risks to enhance health and safety measures while minimizing environmental impact;
- Maintain updated and effective EHS Risk Assessments;
- Develop and organize employee training programs;
- Collaborate with other departments to define prevention and protection measures;
- Work with the engineering team on chemical process requirements;
- Review chemical processes to identify critical safety and environmental parameters.


Health, Safety & Environment Specialist requirements

:


  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial Chemical Plants.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other analytic tools.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental laws.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Previous experience in the field is a plus.
