In order to realize our vision, we are looking for a
_Key Account Manager_ -
_Global Market Insights_** to strengthen our Sales team in Milan.

IQVIA
Global Market Insights supports the companies in the Pharma, API, CDMO, Chemical sectors in achieving their
strategic business of internationalization all around the world trough for main data set and related consulting services:

  • Analysis and forecast of the sales of drugs and active ingredients marketed on an international scale;
  • Monitoring all the markets and the performance of the main players;
  • Establish new business partnerships;
  • Monitor the constantly evolving guidelines in the Regulatory area.

Responsibilities:

-
Sell the full range of IQVIA products and services within assigned accounts (GMI business) to achieve assigned revenue goal

  • Develop and maintain a
    deep and wide knowledge of the assigned accounts and is able to understand their priorities and needs, turning them into business opportunities
  • Develop and execute account plans within assigned accounts
  • Anticipate clients' needs and, in collaboration
    with other departments (mainly _Consulting, Technology and Marketing_)
    develop and present proposed solutions to client's complex business issues
  • Based on long term relationship with client,
    act as an advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues,
    trends and IQVIA product and consulting capabilities
  • Effectively
    manage contract renewals and subscriptions
  • Originate and manage the development of large and complex deals with clients leveraging the whole company portfolio
  • Constantly monitor client satisfaction and work with Supervisor and Client Service team to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Timely
    update CRM platform with regard to opportunity pipeline and call plan

Education:


  • BA or BSc preferably in Economics
  • At least
    6 years' commercial experience in B2B sales with responsibility for managing complex deals with clients
  • Clear and demonstrable experience of winning new business from new and existing accounts and achieving revenue & customer satisfaction targets.

Essential general technical skills and knowledge:


  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
  • Proven expertise in account planning and accurate sales forecasting
  • An understanding of Social Media and how to use it to help develop business would be highly desirable
  • Fluency in both
    English and Italian (spoken and written)
