BROAD
FUNCTION:


  • Is the head of one or more complex organizational units
  • Guarantees, in alignment with the Company policies and supervising the activities of the field Supervisors, the required levels of production and quality, in compliance with the Good Manufacturing Procedures, safety and cost, optimizing yield and resources.
  • Coordinates the Process Teams of the area of responsibility
  • Guarantees the continuous improvement and the optimization of the productive processes, supports the changes to the systems and the completions of maintenance activities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinates the Process Teams (PT) of the area of responsibility, leading the daily and periodical meeting.
  • Guarantees the PTs are keeping under control the production processes of the area, monitoring periodically the process parameters (through Process Monitoring) and handling deviations and unforeseen situations in respect of Safety and quality, on top of the correct implementation of the control strategy of the specific area.
  • Is responsible of the correct execution of the procedures in the production area and monitors the state of implementation of the actions of the PTs
  • Takes active part in to the investigations of events (HSE, Q) occurred in the area of responsibility
  • Leads the definition of production plans on weekly/monthly basis and the plan conformance analysis
  • Manages the Production Supervisors and the Operational Associates of the area
  • Leads the personnel selection
  • Can take part to a self/external audit as the area "expert"
  • Collaborates in the definition of the Objectives of the Flow Team
  • Takes active part into the analysis, within the Flow Team, of periodic metrics, with special attentions to Service Level analysis, to variances, deviations and complaints
  • Is the Budget Holder of the area of responsibility
  • Drives the definition of production strategies (planning, Capacity, layouts,logistic, technology)
  • Drives the definition of standard production parameters (timelines, yields, etc) related to costs
  • Participates to the risks evaluation related to the activities performed in the area of responsibility
  • Ensure the detection and the analysis of incidents and injuries
  • Ensure the investigation of all the productions deviations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Master's Degree in Technical or Scientific disciplines
  • Good knowledge of English Language
  • Good Knowledge of Safety and GMP regulations
  • Previous experience in pharma manufacturing operations
  • Good knowledge of financial fundamentals (e.g. OpEx and CapEx mgmt)
  • Previous experience in leadership roles
