All about the role:

For more than one hundred years now, we've been working at the forefront of shaping living for the better, developing products that meet people's demands in terms of taste, care and wellbeing.

But as consumer needs and wants to continue to evolve, we have even more work to do.

Within the company Global Manufacturing Engineering site, you will be working with factory and Business Areas ME and support process FMEA regarding metal fabrication.

In detail, you will:

Define coremanufacturing processes, owning the internal knowledge and capabilities for metal fabrication
Define Core Technology Road Map in cooperation with R&D
Own and keep updated the Fabrication Optimization Books, driving factories towards compliance with recommendations
Create and maintain global specifications for metal fabrication Equipment and processes
Own and maintain the Global IPCP (in process control plan) for metal fabrication
Research, validate and recommend new technologies and methods for metal fabrication
Planning and optimization of new equipment, and cooperate with Capex team to ensure the right equipment acquisition
Maintain global data base on relevant metal line metrics
Maintain the global metal fabrication forum and facilitate sharing of best practice information and problem solving
Facilitate DFM with R&D on new Products
Support for Maintenance with Global TPM for metal fabrication lines
Work with factory, Business Area ME and production personnel to improve metal fabrication OEE, optimize DL and DM costs, improve quality outcomes and optimize energy efficiency
Support Business Areas / Local ME in new Projects
Cooperate with Open Innovation Team
Working with factory and Business Areas ME, support process FMEA regarding metal fabrication.

Qualifications:

Min. 5 years of professional experience and knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment, preferably in white goods companies

Processes

Project Management, Investment Request, Teamcenter, IPCP
Good English skills
Ability to work in a Matrix Organization and virtual Teams
Ability to work in a multinational team with English as a second language for many team members
Able to travel internationally
Organisation, Communication and Collaboration
Strong Word, Powerpoint, CAD and Excel skills.

You will be based in Porcia (Italy) just a few minutes from Pordenone and about 1-hour distance from the city of Venice where around 2000 people daily contribute to our purpose.
