Project Manager


The purpose of the role is to:

  • Lead the project delivery process for strategic projects, from typically Scheme Design stage to Hand-over and Close-out to ensure an outcome which meets all the defined project objectives for cost, schedule, quality, safety and environment and delivers the business benefits. This process relates to design, procurement, construction, qualification, hand-over and close-out of new and or upgraded production, offices, warehouses, labs facilities.
  • Ensure the Business alignment, planning, prioritization, approval, and outcome forecasting and depreciation impacts of the capital project he/she is in charge of.


The Project Manager has also the responsibility for PIPs preparation and submission in cooperation with the Engineering Capital Lead, ensuring adequate sponsorship during approval process.


In this role YOU will.

  • Lead project execution in strong collaboration with global stakeholders and corporate senior management: in line with the approved scope, time schedule, budget, ensuring effective reporting & forecasting to managers and stakeholders.
  • Have the over accountability of capital investment project and be responsible for all the project phases: project definition, design, construction, commissioning, validation, handover, and monitoring in compliance with law and quality standards coordinating internal & managing external teams & suppliers
  • Be responsible for process equipment design: URS definition in collaboration with relevant SMEs, supplier's selection and technical alignment, expediting, FAT/SAT team leadership.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of internal and external resources, in an international environment
  • Manage project scheduling keeping in account all operations of the site, to avoid production schedule disruption and ensure smooth handover of project through proper involvement of stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to cGMP's, GES, SOP, safety practices Health, Safety and Environment

Basic Qualifications:


  • Master's Degree in Engineering, preferred Chemical/Mechanical/ Industrial
  • Experience in pharmaceutical companies, chemical or food and beverage companies or comparable domain (e.g. contractor company, service provider, engineering office, industrial company)
  • Project Management skills including contract management and project controlling
  • Fluency in English
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • This role requires sound judgment and complex decision making where few precedents and considerable ambiguity may exist.
