Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:

We are looking for **Allotmen Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementation of the housing and nonhousing space assignments for the Olympic and Paralympic Villages;
  • Manage the overall process of allocating accommodation and operational spaces (offices, storage, medical spaces) for all delegations, taking into account the preferences, constraints and data communicated;
  • Create and manage the inventory and inspection process for beds and spaces, and ensure, with the help of the VNI department, to match the needs for beds and operational spaces in the different villages. But also leading the definition of policies for the use of residential spaces;
  • Organize, conduct and manage the checkin and checkout processes with each delegation;
  • Propose solutions for the reassignment of beds and office space in the event of operational problems;
  • Manage the allotment and I&I teams.
  • Develop allocation strategies for satellite villages:
  • Lead the space planning process with all Olympic and Paralympic delegations (definition of uses of allocated spaces, development of layout plans, consolidation of standard and optional needs, and the link with the departments concerned.)
  • Ensure, with the team in charge of relations with the National Committees, regular interactions with the NOCs/NPCs and coorganize their onsite and virtual visits.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree. Any applicant without a degree could be considered based on prior experience;
  • Great command of written and spoken English is essential for this role. Add languages is a plus;
  • Experience in the planning and operations of major events is required;
  • Expertise in the allotment process, property management, and/or spatial design, international Clients' relations are considered an asset;
  • The ability to coordinate, manage multiple tasks and actors, set priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Hospiality, housing or travel industry Front Desk or Reservations experience is preferred.
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, analyses skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic.
  • Having knowledge of AutoCad is a plus
