The team you will be a part of:

  • The Tax team ensures that the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives and complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Activities may include undertaking research; evaluating the legality and tax effectiveness of current and future business activities; preparing and submitting tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports; maintaining tax records; and corresponding with external tax agencies or consultants.

This role in summary:


Support the Indirect Tax Senior Manager in the development and in the delivery of the EMEA Indirect Tax Strategy in line with the overall finance mission.

Be part of the EMEA Tax centre of competence ensuring development of and adherence to the European Tax Directives and local country policies in order to maximize financial control and minimize risk exposure.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Support in the identification and coordination of the indirect tax planning activities performed in the region.
  • Advice for process improvement, harmonization and cost saving.
  • Provide indirect tax advice to the different business functions in timelv, accurate and proactive manner in conjunction with the global tax team.
  • Monitor project status, giving expert, timely and practical advice to help others make decisions and give practical support in the resolution of complex matters.
  • Ensure the company alignment with new indirect tax legislation and tax initiatives, partnering with all involved functions in order to ensure efficient implementation of the required processes and systems.
  • Contribute in the design and implementation of IT systems that are able to optimize the tax functionality by reducing compliance risk and enabling cost and business model improvement
  • Proactively update the tax and finance team, ensure constant alignment with the evolution of indirect tax regulations.
  • Advice the finance team of the EMEA entities and the VAT Share Service Center team in order to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance across EMEA.
  • Support the management of indirect tax audit and controversy and maintain the relationship with local tax authorities and external advisors. Proactively and effectively advise the local local organizations in order to define the most appropriate strategy.
  • Support for the indirect tax risk assessments for all current and future countries where we operate and implementation of the remediation strategy.
  • Partner with the Customs function of the company for topics concerning the effective management of customs duties and customs audits.
  • Enable the right level of cooperation among functions, Ensure team spirit, good teamworking environment, conflict negotiation, Individual and group communication.

Minimum requirements:


  • Indirect tax specialist with a minimum of 4 years VAT experience in a multinational business or big
  • English fluent
  • Good organizational and leadership skills;
  • Strong ability to work in group and aptitude to cooperate
- microsoft office or google workspace


Preferred skills and experiences:


  • Specific VAT education
  • Ability to use SAP for tax analysis
