Position Summary:

Job Title:
Lead Data ScientistQualifications: Formal education in quantitative analytics with a strong grasp of design patterns and data structures.
Proficiency in creating new models using technologies such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Databricks.

Ability to present effectively to both peers and leadership on project progress and findings.5-10 years of experience in relevant roles, with Bachelor's degree or equivalent for ten years of related experience, or Master's/Ph.

D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, predictive analytics, or another quantitative field with five years of related experience.

Understanding of ontologies and knowledge graphs, including design principles, representation languages (RDF, OWL), and query languages (SPARQL).Experience building and manipulating knowledge graphs, extracting information from diverse sources, integrating it, and reasoning over entity relationships.

Familiarity with knowledge graph applications in various domains such as recommendation systems, search engines, and natural language processing.
Experience with knowledge graph platforms like Neo4j, Stardog, or Google AI Platform for Knowledge Graph Construction is advantageous.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and associated libraries for NLU/NLP machine learning models.

Proficiency in statistical and data mining techniques including GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, neural networks, and social network analysis.

Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their practical advantages and drawbacks.
Basic understanding of DevOps/CICD frameworks for container deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).Familiarity with Amazon and Microsoft cloud services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Experience as a computational linguist with a focus on data annotation and language modeling.
Passion for being part of a team of curious learners.


Responsibilities:
Acquire, clean, and analyze large datasets, conducting exploratory analysis to understand data and project suitability.
Make significant decisions impacting millions of customers based on data insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, design, develop, and implement advanced analytics projects tracking the consumer conversion funnel.
Provide, interpret, and predict necessary metrics for decision-making, working closely with the team.

Utilize machine learning tools like Python, Jupyter Notebook, and Databricks to synthesize vast datasets into actionable patterns and use Tableau for data visualization.

Proactively identify and rectify errors in data analysis processes.
Coach and mentor junior data scientists, leveraging their strengths to solve problems with diverse methodologies and analyses.
Own and manage advanced analytics and predictive modeling projects.
Continuously learn and explore new ways to leverage data for creating innovative products and services and discovering insights.
Actively participate in collaborative problem-solving, finding and sharing solutions within the team.
Demonstrate ownership and proactive engagement in tasks and projects.
