    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Grid Integration and Energy Systems Expert to support the implementation of a European Investment Bank funded project in Bulgaria.

    The successful candidate will be part of a consortium led by NTU International A/S, providing advisory services for the Public Sector Loan Facility.

    This is a 20-month project scheduled to start in July 2025.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide expertise on grid integration and energy systems for the Maritsa East Complex project.
    • Support the core team with technical advice and guidance.
    • Collaborate with EU power system operators and regulators as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
    • Proficiency in grid modelling software such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT, or PowerFactory.
    • At least 10 years of experience in power system planning, renewable energy grid integration, and energy infrastructure projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in grid impact assessments, interconnection studies, and regulatory compliance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of grid codes, transmission planning, and smart grid technologies.
    • Experience working with EU power system operators and regulators.
