About the role


This position is to support the Southern European Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and team within the EA sales organization and will function as a key coordination and support role between the sales organization and functional back-office organization.

The role will liaise and collaborate with key contact points within both organizations, like product marketing, sales operations, HR etc.


The position will actively contribute to develop and exercise processes for more effective sales operations in the Southern European team.

The role will provide extended support to the Southern European RSM's, and to the Southern European team resources actively working on securing new orders.


Close cooperation with Southern European RSM's is to be expected, as well as operational resources within our factories to align forecast etc.

Requirements:


  • Proven organizational skills with demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers worldwide.
  • Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to followup on issues and progress to meet leadership expectations.
  • Experience working on multiple activities while following up on issues and progress reports to drive activities to completion.
  • Experience working cooperatively and respectfully on multicultural/crossfunctional teams.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Italian and English fluent.

Preferred:

  • Additional languages speaking
  • Experience with Salesforce, JDE and other tools as used by the BU's
  • Experience with Autronica and Det-Tronics products and system integration practices or related industry

Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Support presales activities with regards to customer prequalifications and support to ongoing bidding activities
  • Participate and execute smaller proposals in cooperation with the RSM
  • Work closely with support functions in our two organizations to enable and ease sales
  • Actively use the company CRM (SalesForce)
  • Provide presales support to Southern European RSM's, team and customers
  • Support Southern European RSM's to issue smaller quotations and clarifications to customers
  • Documentation supply to customers (standard doc and issuance of order specific documentation/declarations)
