VFX editor EDI is looking VFX Editor to join our creative team.The VFX Editor serves as the key link between the DI, Editorial Department, the in-house production teams and the artists.
Under the supervision of the VFX Supervisor, the Visual Effects Editor is the main level of support for the entire production team, from pre-production to final delivery.
Job responsibilities:
Run client reviews and all internal dailies sessionsSet-Up the workflow for the current visual effects projectCreate projects for the compositors in Nuke StudioRespond to all editorial requestsRun client reviews and all internal dailies sessionsProcess turnovers to the Editorial DepartmentWorking closely with Producer & Vfx Supervisor to ensure delivery qualityWork closely with internal production, artists and other support departments providing advice, references, information and files when needed
Requisiti Required skills:
Excellent knowledge of DaVinci ResolveWorking knowledge of a tracking system softwareStrong technical background and an expert understanding of all editorial toolsWorking knowledge of film and digital formats, files, frame rates, resolutions, colour space and codecsTeamwork, relationship building and communication skillsOrganized, positive and proactiveAbility to perform multiple tasks, set priorities and solve problemsKnowledge of Assimilate Scratch is a plus.
