The expansive villa, built by Agrippina Major, evokes the luxurious lifestyle of the ancient Roman resort located between the Janiculum Hill and the Vatican which extended into the area where the Basilica of St.

Peter now stands. 2000 years later.
Villa Agrippina a Gran Melia Hotel, stands on the same historic site.

Villa Agrippina is looking for the upcoming season for a Commis Kitchen to support our Chef de Partie's team by joining our dynamic hotel kitchen team.

The hotel offers contract of 7/8 month with possibility to renewal. No accomodation is available.

What will I have to do?

Preparing, assisting, cooking and presenting high quality dishes in line with our standards
Assisting the Chef de Partie in cooking and developing dishes
Preparing meat, fish and vegetables
Assisting with the management of health and safety
Assisting with the management of food hygiene practice

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a culinary field in hospitality
Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
Strong flexibility and availability to work in a dynamic kitchen
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest and colleagues needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
