MISSION


In the frame of Satellite & Mission Department, SITAEL is looking for an experienced/senior Satellite Electrical Architect, with mid-level experience (>5 years) in the field of Space Engineering, preferably at system-subsystem level.- The Satellite Electrical Architect will be responsible of EPS (Electrical Power Systems) subsystem design & development in the frame of a major Commercial Program, based on PLATiNO small platform.- The Satellite Electrical Architect will report directly to EPS Team Leader.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks will be:

  • Technical coordination of EPS (Electrical Power System) engineering activities
  • EPS specification preparation and management
  • Definition of satellite electrical architecture (power, TMTC, PL data lines)
  • EPS design activities: EPS sizing (PCDU, Solar Array, SADA, Battery), electrical I/F & interconnection, conducted EMC, power bus quality analysis (ripple and voltage drop)
  • Energy balance for configuration tradeoff analysis and satellite operating modes prediction analysis
  • Technical followup of EPS units design & development (PCDU, Solar Array, SADA, Battery, Harness)
  • EPS AIV (assembly, integration & verification)

TECHINCAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

It is required:

  • Electric or Electronic or Aerospace Engineering (5y+) Master Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Space Electrical Engineering, preferably at system level
  • Advanced knowledge of Satellite level electrical architecture and its components
  • Good knowledge of Satellite Design and its subsystems/functions
  • Capability of performing technical coordination
  • Good knowledge of satellite lifecycle and System Engineering methods and tools (requirement management, tradeoff studies, Sys ML)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, MS VISIO, DOORS, Matlab Simulink, LTSpice
  • Very good knowledge of English
