YOUR TEAM

You'd be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.

The Project Office, part of the Research Organisation Directorate, is coordinated by Francesca Cagnoni and is seeking to appoint a Project Manager that will have a key role on planning, managing, monitoring and implementing all the activities necessary for the successful completion of external funded projects coordinated by IIT..

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

Supporting the PI in coordination of the consortium, controlling the overall working plan and monitoring its proper implementation in terms of deliverables, milestones and implementation of WP objectives;
Supporting the PI in managing the relationships with the project partners;
Monitoring the technical and financial advancement and, if necessary, supporting efforts to streamline projects or reduce their risks, including the introduction of amendments to project plans;
Collecting, reviewing and submitting technical and financial reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority;
Preparing the meetings, (proposing decisions and preparing the agenda and the minutes of the meetings) and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings;
Supervising and managing communication and dissemination activities;
Supervising and managing exploitation plans and scheduled activities;
Supporting the redaction of data management plan, supervising and managing of the resulting activities;
Supporting in management of IPR issues (including managing rules foreseen in the Consortium Agreement).

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE

A master or bachelor degree in business, economics, management, law, political science or similar disciplines;
Experience in project economicfinancial planning;
Experience in reporting and data analysis;
Experience in in dissemination activities;
Good problem solving;
Familiarity with the main IT software packages;
A cooperative approach with colleagues and stakeholders;
Accuracy and good analytical skills;
Good command of spoken and written English.
